Rainy day again!

There's always a rainbow after the rain.
i say,
Too much of the rainbow brings in the rain...

Had a wonderful time with AI at the xmas market at La Defense today.
With our innocent looks,
we managed to try out xmas goodies including
foie gras- a tiny little piece
And some muscat from the south!

Just now, I ran out of the house to get some stuff from Monoprix.
Took a different path to come home as
all of a sudden, I realised I was no longer in a rush!

Slowing down my steps,
a millions thoughts rushed in
I thought of the classmates who were going home during the break
Just at the moment, I passed by a Chinese restaurant in the market
which Ive never noticed before
There was a poster explaining how the Chinese horoscope works.
It hit me hard,
I will miss the Chinese New Year which will be in 2 mths' time.
As I racked my brain to think of what the next horoscope animal will be in 2008,
the poster became blurred..

Walking out of the market,
I stood beside a fat smoker.
Together, we stared at the falling rain.
He took a deep puff of his cigarette
while I heaved a huge sigh
