Falls

In Milan, Steph fell & she actually cried.
So I tried to make jokes with her on the bus all the way from Milan to Florence while she iced her ankle.
For strange reasons, since arriving in Paris, I have been falling a lot too.
And I totally understanding how upsetting it is.

First you analyse your shoes, and wonder why you tortured yourself in such dangerous heels or even if they were just some normal shoes.

Next, you wish you dont have to walk so much (ie arent gals supposed to be chauffeured around when they are in heels, or even when they are in comfortable shoes)

And finally, you wish someone can promise to you that once the pain is gone, you no longer will fall again. Which you, having normal/ave and above IQ, know you cant believe that even if someone nicely consoles in that manner.

So, all you can do is what your friends/ love ones tell you all the time- "do take care of yourself".

If someone is injured, pls be nice to them. DC told me about having the grace to listen to other peoples' complaints. I agree and I also must add that I think those who dont complain are the ones who deserves more grace. haha... im speaking for myself!

The next time I meet my mentor, I will not wear heels again. Or at least, I will do like what my North American galfriends do, carry flats around. This was the pair of flats from 3 suisses which I had to buy as my cramped foot couldnt function in the heels any longer.

I hope none of my galfriends ever fall again. * you know that cant be true, so pls, take care of yourselves.

Meanwhile I will start developing on the idea of " elegant, pain-free, world's most comfy shoes "...
