Settling down in Sydney- week 1

Papa noel didnt grant my wish and I still have the bugger on my ankle which totally prevent me from participating in any beach and sea activity. Anyway, 'no worries' as the Australians say all the time, I have loads of time in the future to enjoy the sea as the weather here is AWESOME! Meanwhile I have take loads of photos of the guys in action at the beach and sea. Will post them up soon.

The last 3 weeks were fabulous but had totally drained me out and Im only starting to feel back in shape yesterday.

Pafff I didnt realise im already in SYDNEY until now... Felt surreal as I drove our car to the airbase to fetch ET from his flight last night. Do you sometimes feel like you are watching yourself do something instead of really doing it yourself? Yea... that sends shivers down my spine too.

Our apartment used to be a spa, the decor in dark wood and the placards as floorings are nice. However I still have work to do on it. Men can be easy with their living conditions but my expectation of comfort is definitely not negotiable. On top of killing the cockroach and scaring away the mouse in the kitchen, Im going to make sure none of them dare to step in again. Then, there need to be a system in the kitchen. Well im sure there was one, but thats not mine... well... women...nicky picky...

Bibi and Touf left our apartment on Sunday, I tried to get my projects started and to my shock....

Maybe I was too eager in settling down, I totally overlooked that the guy who was busy entertaining his friends, orientating and making sure everything was fine for me and managing his flying school at the same time, was already on the verge of a break-down. And it happened... Et had fever last night and he had to cancel his class today.

The first lesson learnt: to take things easy and to take care of my partner in crime.

Don't forget to put on sunblock! The weather may look good but the sun's UV rays are fiesty!
