After 2 hours and 50 min, I was welcomed by the green land of New Zealand.
By the time the job was done at 730pm, the city of sails was dark. My legs were in pain from 6 hours of walking in heels. The kind taxi drive dropped me at the viaduct for a view of the skyline before sending me to the hotel. The building on the right looking like giant antenna is called the SKY CITY.
Decided to go for dinner there, at the orbit restaurant. By the time I finished the 3 course meal, I had gone through a magnificent 360degrees view which took 1 hr 05 min at speed 3 ( there are 8 speeds to the rotation). I actually would prefer a speed 2 because at a certain moment, I felt my head spinning. Pretty sure it was due to the speed and not the cloudy bay merlot.
All the dishes were good, but special mention goes to the kiwi lamb. For those who dont like the taste of lamb, you have to give the Kiwi lamb a go, it doesnt smell and is tender and sweet. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Delicious... The taste still lingers at the tip of my tongue.
