Min's visit

Min said "wherever you go Mary, if I can, I will come and visit you". True to her words, she took a ticket and popped over to Sydney despite knowing it was not the most favorable period to visit Australia.

Im so touched.

Im also apologetic that it was a busy period, so hectic that I couldn't even fetch her from airport. But like the sweetest girl Ive know in JC, she didn't mind. Guilty me actually pushed the limit by having her sit next to me surfing the net while I finished my work during the 1 out of 4 days of her trip.

That's the look of " Ive been waiting for you at your home for the whole day". At the end we were rewarded with a surprisingly good italian dinner not far from home.

For the rest of the days, I managed to show her my yoga class on the sea. My teacher was away in India but this other instructor was not bad, her poses were natural and beautiful since she used to be a ballet dancer.
That's us looking all happy and rejuvenated after the session.
At circular quay, a teenager with a deep, awesome voice was singing jazz tunes. I refused to help Min tip the singer and yet snapped a photo of her meekly walking back after tipping. haha
A journey to Watson's Bay to have a view of Sydney city...too bad, was covered in fog... but we caught sight of a cheeky monkey in the background!
Fish and Chips at Doyles Wharf : here's min admiring the crystal clear waters. And I was thinking how HP would be happy to swim here since she will be able to see the seabed.
We visited the Biennale Art Exhibition on Cockatoo Island. Spent most of our time at AS-F exhibit which consisted of 6 giant screens showing 3 movies. Most of the other exhibits were bizarre and freaky, stimulated our thoughts of course but were also disturbing.

With all the touring in cold weather, I had altogether 2 chai lattes, 2 hot chocolates and 1 coffee in 3 days. The best part of catching up with girlfriends is that we always treat ourselves to nice cafes/bars and enjoy the moment.

Thanks for all the lovely moments :)
