Flooding in Queensland

Thanks for the concern, we are very lucky to be 2 hours south of the disaster zone.
Our home is safe and life is as normal :)
This doesn't mean we are not affected at all, the Richmond river is rather muddy.
The sediments washed down the river are mixed up with the sea water creating foams.
which is a pollution
considering it stretched across the beautiful long beaches.
Well, the situation is not detrimental to the crazy Oz kiters who took advantage of the wind, bracing the ferocious bull sharks who love muddy waters, and kited whenever they could. This guy was even trying to get out when the wind was fully onshore and the waves were rough.

Ironically Et has been working 7am-7pm dropping tourists who has been "flooding" Byron bay.  Usually it is hard to spot him as he climbs real high (14,000ft) even though he has been training me to recognise the sound of his engines. This photo is precious!!

It is really easy to recognise the skydive plane by the 2 bars connecting the body to the wings. That's where there skydivers stand on before they jump off. Spooky...
