Playing host with Moot

On the first day, my sis invited us to River Safari to see the pandas...
Only Kai Kai was available, Jia Jia was in hiding.
My sis made me put on this panda hat and sneaked a photo of us. This shot is precious as we are forbidden to take photos in the shop.
Day 3, we visited the Flower Dome @ Gardens by the Bay. The air-conditioned green house makes a difference during the visit, we felt like strolling in the park during Spring time.
Mum treated us to the Indochine on the supertrees as Moot was not that keen go on the OCBC walk. It was a great idea as the view was spectacular. The restaurant is on higher ground than the walk. I would imagine a restaurant like this with such a view in Paris to cost 5 times as much.
The meal was quite a delight.
Then of course we did the uber luxury visit of MBS. The LV island was comparable to the 4 storey LV flagship on Champs Elysee. We were offered champagnes and orange juice at the book store section, but with politely declined as we did not have intention to buy anything. Moot was impressed that the manager addressed her " Bonjour Madame". I have no idea how he knew she was french.

I wonder if it is a pain going to high-end boutiques with me, as I do it like a market study. Can't help but inform my companions the stories of the brands, the evolution and their current performance plus I've a tendency to compare how up to date the brands in Singapore are with their collections. So I kept it to 1h, and quickly dragged the mums out of MBS.
But that was not the last of it, on Moot's last day we went back to MBS, this time to a restaurant at the top for lunch. It had been raining a lot in Singapore, apart from occasional moments being in the clouds, we had bursts of great view of the bay.
The desert which Moot had was to die for- Passion fruit and apricot cheese cake.
We were sad to part with Moot after 3 fabulous weeks and we've grown so attached to each other. We promised to see each other real soon, and that makes farewell much easier....
Et and I spent 2 more days in Singapore recuperating as playing host is meaningful and fruitful but unfortunately exhausting.
