Sneak Preview ...

During my short 3.5 days in Singapore for work, I managed to squeeze in time for an appointment with the developers to inspect the defects of our new home. Thanks to my BIL's exceptional negotiation skills making it possible:)

To think that when we bought this unit back in April 2011, it was a just a flat piece of land. Finally, walking into the unit which I'm been visualising during the the past 2.5 years felt so unreal.

As I sat at the club house admiring the building, I took a photo of our block (right in the middle of the photo). It is so tranquil and nice (before all residents move in), I was wishing Et were there to see it.

We did not choose the units facing "me" (as those units were facing the pool & spas, which would be rather noisy, I thought). Instead, our unit faces the city and the tennis court. I could actually see half the Singapore flyer from our balcony!

There is still a lot to be done in the unit, including the 2 pages of defects submitted for the developer to rectify. When I've the lights and curtains up, I will post some more photos.
