Pardon me for the closed eye photo, what I wana show is that it was so warm today that I had to remove my cardigan plus leather jacket! :)))During a nice walk at the Marais, on top of seeing antique cars, gays, tourists, bobos, cafes and restaurants, I bummed into 3 Zadig & Voltaire boutiques.
This is the current no.1 brand for the bobos (bourgeois bohemians) in France now, over-taking LVMH's Kenzo. In terms of price tag, it doesnt play 2nd fiddle to Kenzo with T-shirts from 75 euros and above. Its success is because it captures the authentic parisian artist's style of being unpretentious, comfortable & yet stylish. The new advertising poster shows an almost naked couple, rolling on something which is probably the bed & looking perfectly at ease in their own skins.
Delicate fabrics are used: mainly silk, cashmere, cotton & lace washed in such a way that they look almost like uber comfy rags.
