How fast a week passed by without classes

Thought that days will be slower since classes stopped. But alas No! I was out everyday working on my project, was at AI's house, at the Exe MBA campus at La Defense, interviewing people at posh places in Ritz at Place Vendome, Le Notre at Champs Elysee Clemenceau... Met my team mates everyday (the same 3 faces) and we already need a break from each other! So we refused to meet up during the weekend...

Saturday... After 9 months of passing by at 100 times the island in the metro on the way to school and wondering how the hell one gets onto it, I finally found time to racky the "ile de la Grand Jatte"- a 20 minutes walk from my home. There is a 30 meters bridge for pedestrians to cross to reach the sports club on the island where you find a stadium. Unfortunately the tennis courts on the island were not opened to the public.

On Sunday, I went jogging to Bois de Boulogne to ease my guilt of exercise procrastination. Felt so much healthier! It was la fete des meres in France and I tagged along ET to visit his mum at St Germain En-laye for lunch.

So smart of me to borrow his mum's flowers for a photo in front of the chateau.
Weather in the suburbs was better than in Paris thus ET drove me to Parc Marly le Roi- the most magnificent park I have ever been! Humongous and hilly.

With many cone shaped trees surrounding the pond. It was pure happiness lying on the grass and taking in the massive surrounding space.

Under the devil's instigation, and learning the phrase "la pierre qui roule n'amasse pas mousse", I rolled down one of the slopes. Gathered heaps of grass on my sweater and hair but was glad that meant that Im not a stone!
