Museum Marathon 7th Sept

Time passes so fast! The first Sunday of the month has arrived again and this time I was determined to visit 3 museums compared to 2 last month. Commenced my day at 11am and ended at 7pm. Effectively Ive visted 2.5 museums as we did not complete the last one. Still...Great success! Hi-5 :)

Although weather was not at its best, I enjoyed Rodin's sculptures while freezing my arms.

The door of hell: "Vous qui entrez ici, abandonnez toute esperence".

The super bored curator became the new age penseur. (beside Le Penseur)

View of Eiffel Tower from Musee Quai Branly- a museum featuring traditional tribal objects from all over the world. The most interesting regions were Polynesie and the Americans (red indians). Do you know that bat teeths were used as money?

The last museum visited was the Architectual museum of France. I became interested in the development of La Defense project with the Signal Tower and all by 2015. Jean Nouvel is one of my most admired architects now and I dragged 2 buddies to watch the 30 mins fireworks celebrating th 50 yr anniversary of La Defense 2 days ago.
