Bad Bad Bee for not updating the blog for more than 1 month! ok i make a resolution myself not to ever break this record.

Its been such a packed month. And finally i can take a breather.

Work:
Somedays i worked till 11pm and thank god i stay near my office (and in the safest neighbourhood in France). And, I have the kick scooter to transport me home in 5 mins (depending on how hard i kick)
The busy period is finally over, phew! je peux vivre ma vie.

Health:
With less work, I started to do all the things I couldnt.

# 1 Visit the dentist for a check up after 2 years! My verdict: The French dentists do have better equipments and products. For eg the gross silver stuff Singaporean dentists use to polish our teeth is over here, a pink minty tasty stuff, which i wished my dentist would have used more. lick lick...
However the damage was 90 euros! I was told that my mutuelle will take care of the amount and I really hope so. It has been 9 months and I still dont have my social security card. So unfair since Ive been contributing 23% of my salary for the good of the social security fund. J'en ai marre!

Next I took out my last wisdom teeth. Had to go through the process of making appt with the radiology clinic to take a xray, blar blar. Day 4 after the extraction now and Im still drinking my own blood. My dentist believed in natural recovery, I had no stitches, no painkiller nor antibiotics.

#2 Took a blood test on glycerine and cholesterol. I havent been back to the lab to collect the result. Nevermind, this way Im not guilty for the 2 pieces of foie gras at dinner last night.

Others:

#1 Venice 4 days 3 nights, escaped the cold weather in Paris. Very romantic and special, getting lost in the little streets,

watching gondolas maneuvered the canals.

Took the water bus- vaporette

to the islands of Burano- colourful fishing village,

Torcello a wild island with a medieval church

Murano- glass factories,

and Lido. I waded in the warm Adriantic sea which reminded me so much of East Coast Park. Wind was not strong enough, there was 1 windsurfer pole dancing and a kiter rolling up his kite.

ET swam ( i couldnt as i didnt bring my swim wear). Then we had a picnic while waiting for his hair and boxers to dry!

One night we went to the famous Harry's bar to taste the original bellini- mix of prosecco and pure peach jus. The service was not attentionate, the drink glass was so simple plus the bellini not any more tasty that those made with french champagne. Felt cheated of 34 euros for 2 drinks and we left in 15 mins.

I love markets and we went to the famous Rialto market 2 times. Colourful fruits n veges and all kinds of seafood. So fresh! Too bad i have to live in Venice to buy them.

My 2nd vivaldi 4 seasons concert in my life is in San Vidal on Venice. Although the room was not as grand as the one in St Chapelle in Paris, the acoustics were better. The musicians were resident players for more than 10 years and I was totally taken in by the pieces they played during the 2 hours including the encores!

Finally we found our special little wooden bridge, PONTE VINANTI, the 2nd bridge we have to cross each day. This bridge was still in construction. Perhaps it will be nicest bridge on Venice when we visit again. Wonder how the future will be.

#2 For ET's bday, I invited him to Jean-luc trophy - an event held by my parent company Largardere Group each year where they invite the ex pro tennis players to play against each other in the prestigious Lagardere Racing Club

Michael Chang even signed my ticket and on a tennic ball for ET!

MChang fought hard against Stephen Edberg whom ET was supporting in the background of the photo. This exciting match got my beer paid that night at OZ bar. It was a good bet!

The competition inspired us so much that we went to play tennis in different courts all over Paris 5 times in 2 weeks. I believe Im improving and want to play more!!
