This Wednesday was a black Wednesday, as I shared my colleague's joy that his wife has given birth to a cute baby girl, a week later, I was stricken by the news that his wife has passed away suddenly.
There are few men I would consider gentlemen and he is one of them. Always doing his best, generous, helpful and most considerate to others. consistently.
And his wife was such a lovely lady...the kind you know you can be good friends with if you had stayed in the same city.
This colleague of mine is the person I have the most contact with at work, and it sucks now that everytime I think of his loss, my brains just freeze and tears start to form.
My boss said it is a part of grieving...and wants us to go for her funeral as mourning is an important part of grieving. Its a good idea to render him support too but I really dont want to be a cry baby. but how not to cry? when what happened is just too sad to be true.
Here is a beautiful photo of the Gunlom waterfall in the morning,
I remembered walking around it thinking how lucky we are to be alive in this beautiful world.
Some lives are longer while some are shorter, and those who get to see more of life are indeed blessed. Do bless all my friends and family.
