Made my first chocolate cake as a surprise, it was an amateur effort, a bit burnt on the edges but tasted up to standard. PHEW! The left over lasted for another 2 brekkies for my happy hubby.
It was quite a feat getting back to Darwin for his birthday after 2 back to back biz trips,
and I arrived at 515am exactly on that day.
Et fetched me at the airport, happily received his pressies (Nike tennis shoes and some personal items, yes im so practival), quickly caught some sleep before going for his flight.
As both of us had a long day, we celebrated with a simple dinner at home.
Just glad to be there for his birthday. And for many more others to come!
