First time playing in a golf course

One remarkable thing in Australia is that there are golf courses everywhere. I've finally gotten a chance to tag along the guys for my first game of 9 holes. Sorry guys to have gate crashed your game!

Ps. Only in Australia, can you play golf in singlets! and the thongs was not part of the attire.

In contrary to what I would have imagined, I enjoyed golf very much, it is more fun than playing on the wii since you get to walk on the fairway, enjoying the big space and occasionally chasing the birds in the way of the ball! Lucky for me, I did not lose a single ball. Each ball is $2, hence it is definitely not a good idea to lose them. At the end of the day, I must have done like 40 swings at least, and was suffering from a giant blister on my thumb and a super sore left arm.

For $23/pax for fees + $10 rental of a set of clubs, one can spend a good 2.5hours on the golf course. I dont know how much that costs in Singapore, but it does not seem to be a rich man's sport here.
